ASTM B164 / ASME SB164
Identity, composition & condition →NICKEL ALLOY BAR APPLICATIONS
Marine pump and propeller shaft enquiries, fasteners and precision hardware.

FROM STOCK TO COMPONENT
Pump shafts, propeller shaft stock, valve stems, fasteners, pins and instrument-housing blanks.
State diameter, overall length, straightness and machining allowance for shaft stock. For bolts or nuts, distinguish round blanks from requested hexagonal stock and define across-flats dimensions.

| Inspection & quality files | Agree tensile and hardness requirements, surface and dimensional checks, additional NDT if required, heat marking and corrosion-protection/packing needs. |
| Release and destination | Give the quantity, required date, destination, packing and material marking. Identify drawing revision and the documents governing acceptance. |
MATERIAL REFERENCES
Material literature identifies marine uses for 400 and 625, and marine/pump shafting for 925. Exposure and final condition still govern the engineer’s decision.

SCOPE OF EXPERIENCE
Company-confirmed Alloy 400 bar photographs document measurement and packing. They are not proof of a marine project or current inventory.

No. Supply the engineering-approved material and application requirements. Actual medium, temperature, loading and condition determine the necessary review.
Agree tensile and hardness requirements, surface and dimensional checks, additional NDT if required, heat marking and corrosion-protection/packing needs.
Our core products are bars and solid sections for further processing. If your request is for a finished part, identify that scope explicitly so capability and responsibilities can be reviewed.
