ABOUT US
Phoenix Alloy is the foreign trade department of Jiangsu Xinhua Alloy, our family-owned nickel alloy manufacturing business. Our Jiangsu factory was established in 1998; our Shanghai team has handled international enquiries and export coordination since 2006.
We manufacture nickel alloy bars through melting, forging, heat treatment, finishing and testing. As one factory-and-trade team, we review grades, dimensions, delivery conditions, inspection documents and shipment requirements with machine shops, equipment builders, distributors and project buyers.

03 / PRODUCTION PROCESS
Nickel alloy bars are produced through a controlled route from melting and remelting to forging, heat treatment, finishing and inspection.

01 / VIM
Primary melting establishes the alloy chemistry and prepares each heat for the required production route.

02 / ESR
ESR is selected where the grade and specification require improved ingot cleanliness and internal quality.

03 / FORGING
Hot forging breaks down the cast structure and forms the material into bar stock for subsequent processing.

04 / HEAT TREATMENT
Solution annealing, stress relief or age hardening is planned around the alloy grade and required delivery condition.

05 / MACHINING
Finishing operations prepare the required dimensions, surface condition, cutting length and identification.

06 / INSPECTION
Chemical analysis, dimensions, mechanical testing and documentation are confirmed against the agreed inspection plan.
MELTING & REMELTING

01 / VIM
Controlled melting helps establish the required alloy chemistry while limiting contamination. The melting route is selected for the grade and purchase specification.

02 / ESR
Following primary melting, ESR supports ingot cleanliness and internal quality. VIM + ESR is used for most alloy materials at our factory.
Equipment capacities describe the furnaces; the production route and batch size are confirmed for each order.

NICKEL ALLOY BAR FAQ
Find answers about grades, bar dimensions, delivery conditions, testing and ordering.
Explore all 24 questions →Start with Alloy 625, 718, 600, 825, 400 or C-276, or browse the full material directory. Related iron-based and controlled-expansion alloys are listed separately. Confirm the alloy designation and purchased form in your enquiry.
Round bars are our core product. Square, flat, hexagonal and forging-bar combinations require review against the grade, dimensions, delivery condition and production route. A round-bar listing does not confirm all other sections or a forged route.
Round bars: diameter and length. Square bars: side length and length. Flat bars: thickness, width and length. Hexagonal bars: across flats (AF) and length. Forging bars: diameter and length, plus the forged route and machining allowance. Include units, tolerances and quantity.
Use the condition required by the applicable product specification and approved drawing. For material requiring further heat treatment after machining, state the delivered condition and who is responsible for the subsequent treatment.
Use the specification applicable to the alloy, purchased form and required condition, and identify the edition. Grade pages list bar references. A specification for tubing, sheet or forgings is not automatically applicable to bar stock.
State the document type and your project’s inspection requirements at enquiry stage. The documentation scope and any external inspection or witnessing arrangements must be reviewed and agreed before production.
Our reference minimum order quantity is 100 kg. The quotation confirms the minimum quantity for the actual grade, section, dimensions and production route; it is not a fixed minimum for every item.
Our reference production lead time is 40 days. Ask for a schedule based on the actual material, dimensions, condition, testing and quantity. Required witnessing, documents and delivery arrangements should be included in that review.
