Identify grade and form
Give the alloy name and UNS identifier. Choose round, square, flat or hexagonal stock. Non-round combinations require grade-and-size review.
Use the correct dimensions
Round: diameter. Square: side length. Flat: thickness and width. Hexagonal: across flats. Add length, tolerances, allowance and quantity.
Define purchase requirements
State the material standard and edition, required condition, surface, test methods, acceptance criteria and documents.
Finish with delivery details
Add destination, required date, marking, packing and drawing revision. General MOQ and lead-time figures remain references until quotation.
